Consequences of Gays Adopting

 just had this conversation with a guy in his fifties. he is pretty cool most of the time but tonight it was… nerve wrecking. his vision of homosexuality in itself and in relation to adoption… made.me.want.to.pull.my.hair.out!

apart from saying that they are like drug addicts, a disease that just spreads among those in close proximity he also believes that god would have created only one sex if homosexuality was ‘normal’.

i wonder whether he is just threatened by it, or so closeminded that he just cant accept anything different from him… i kept on asking him what the hell did homosexuality have to do with him, how is it that it directly affects his life and why he even cares what other people do in their spare time, when they’re not hurting other people… and then he said … well probably the dumbest thing i heard all night-well, your analogy then means that you dont care if people kill little children in their spare time??

my response-well, to answer you question i think its sort of terrible if someone is killing anybody in their spare time, not just little children (although i know he was trying to be super dramatic but i couldnt help myself) and that homosexuals are NOT killing people in their spare time (the group as a whole i mean, globally lol)

but to end this rant i just need to wonder.. how does one stay frineds with people that are so hateful.. for.no.fucking.reason?!
